Annapolis County Ground Search and Rescue (ACGSAR)

is a 100% non-profit, volunteer search and rescue organization and registered charity with in Nova Scotia. Our volunteers are on call 24/7, 365 days a year to respond to lost-person incidents and civil emergencies  when needed. Most of our searches take place at night and in inclement weather. A search can mean looking for anyone from lost hikers, campers, and skiers to children and Alzheimer’s patients. All volunteers of ACGSAR are volunteers. They provide their own food, gasoline, time, and a wide variety of specialized equipment necessary for braving sometimes severe outdoor conditions. Our members are dedicated and skilled, but we need your help! Please support our search and rescue efforts. Making a gift to Annapolis County Ground Search and Rescue is a direct and meaningful way to help someone who may be lost or injured. A financial gift will allow us to continue to provide these critical services to the people in the Annapolis Valley.
