Please remember:
All volunteers of ACGSAR are volunteers. They provide their own food, gasoline, time, and a wide variety of
specialized equipment necessary for braving sometimes severe outdoor conditions.
Making a gift to Annapolis County Ground Search and Rescue is a direct and meaningful way to help
someone who may be lost or injured. A financial gift will allow us to continue to provide these critical
services to the people in the Annapolis Valley.
"The Rotary Club of Middleton is
pleased to provide financial support
to Annapolis Valley Ground Search
and Rescue. The service the
organization provides is invaluable
in our rural, mostly wooded area.
And it is great to see its volunteers
giving back to the community by
safety support at such events as the
Lawrencetown Education Centre's
Big Chill Snowshoe Marathon."
Michael Fairn, Secretary
Rotary Club of Middleton,
The Annapolis County Ground Search
and Rescue is a dynamic group of
volunteers committed to ongoing
training for search and rescue operations
that work in collaboration with agencies
such as RCMP in dealing with lost and
missing persons.
They are committed to community based
educational and prevention programs
that promote public safety in the
outdoors.
